The Good Divorce Group, Norfolk comprises Norfolk-based family lawyers, mediators and independent financial advisers from firms throughout the county.
They not only have specialist knowledge, but have undergone training in the skills needed to help couples work through their differences to reach an agreement. The members are all highly qualified in resolving divorce, separation and other family disputes in a non-confrontational manner.
Each Family Lawyer in the group will be a member of Resolution and will be a collaborative lawyer, mediator or arbitrator – or indeed a combination of any of the three.
Qualified Mediators in the group are either specially trained family lawyers or are other professionals who have undergone specialist training and are members of Resolution.
The Financial Advisers in the group have undergone specific training and accreditation by Resolution enabling them to assist in divorce and separation cases.
Resolution is an organisation of of 6,500 family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters and work to an agreed code of practice. The principles of the code are widely recognised and have been adopted by the Law Society as recommended good practice for all family lawyers.
It may prove helpful to enlist the help of other professionals such as family counsellors, accountants and surveyors in the negotiation process and we have set up a panel of Associated Professionals who support the non-confrontational approach of the Group.
